The Statue of Saint Elizabeth

Imre Varga’s statue of Saint Elizabeth in front of the church was erected in 1985.

The statue depicts the young Elizabeth and her husband, Louis IV the Margrave of Thuringia, before departing to the castle of Wartburg.
