The manorial dwelling house located in the main street was built in Early Baroque style in the 17th century. It was renovated in the 18th century.
A memorial plaque of Lord Ferenc Rákóczi II can be found on the wall, although the Bodrogkeresztúr estate was the possession of his sister, Julianna Rákóczi.
The Latin epitaph above the entrance gate is still legible: “Psalcap: 122.V.7. Sit Pax in praemunitione tua Tranquillitas et requies in palatiis tuis”. Which means: Psalm 122., verse 7., part V. “Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.”
